I Will Forever Miss You

Oftentimes when it's quiet my mind wanders and I think about you. For years the memories used to make me cry, but now I smile truly understanding that you are in a beautiful place. Whereas the tears in my mind used to cloud my vision, now they've subsided and my mental vision is clear.

When we are born, our great-grandparents and grandparents are the elders of our generation. Then our parents become the elders. Then we become the elders. And when we pass on, our children will become the elders and so on. We are only here for a short time before we take the baton from the elders who preceded us and we pass it on to those who will succeed us.

You were a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend to so many people whose lives you touched. You lived your life beautifully and taught your children how to survive and be successful. I miss you in my heart and soul and I will always cherish the memories of you. 

 

You were always an angel on earth and now you are an angel in Heaven. Every time I see the beauty of a sunrise or sunset I look up and think of you. I love you forever. May you rest in eternal peace.
